The GOOD SHEPHERD MISSION. on Mitchley Road was built as a second small church and Sunday School Hall for our parish in 1910. For many years it has been let as a workshop to a charity working with those who cannot hold down an ordinary job because of Psychiatric illness. Mass is said there by Fr. Miller in an upper room on Thursdays at 9.30am. All are welcome. Go in through the main door on Mitchley Road. You emerge into a workshop (once the Sunday School Hall). the project manager or his staff will direct you to the back of the workshop up the stairs to the room where the Mass is celebrated.

But now the charity is interested in changing their use of the building so that we would be able to extend our use. We could have a small ground floor chapel and a community room. This would mean we could expand our witness to Jesus in the south of the parish and perhaps even have Sunday services there as well as in the parish Church.

This exciting new challenge for the parish is the next task for the Parish as we continue to try to expand our work and grow together in FAITH & LOVE & NUMBER
